Trek-for-a-cause

Raise funds and change lives while experiencing the Himalayan trek of a lifetime

If you are up for a challenge, then Trek-for-a-cause is your project!

You will trek the Himalayas on awe-inspiring multi-day journeys supported by our experienced Nepali staff. You could be trekking to Everest Base Camp, completing the Annapurna Circuit, or heading away from the crowds to Annapurna Base Camp. We work with each team to identify and realise their ultimate trekking goal.

Our trekking teams raise funds for a chosen partner agency before departure. They have raised funds to support: the rehabilitation of human trafficking survivors, regional education resource equity, community-based disability support, seed funds for entrepreneurial regional youth, and crisis food distribution through our food banks.

Challenge yourself, challenge others, tick off your bucket list, and see real change in action.

UPCOMING EXPEDITION

2023 MUSTANG

7th April  – 22nd April

17 Day Expedition

The Trans Himalayan Mustang Region is also known as the Last Forbidden Kingdom, with the region restricted to outsiders until 1991. Thus the years of isolation have kept the culture, lifestyle and heritage unchanged for centuries.

Entry to the region is strictly controlled, with special government permits required, to protect both traditional lifestyle and the environment.

This trek begins in Jomsom before passing through the entry point of the upper Mustang Region, Kagbeni. Following the banks of the Kaligandaki River, the route continues upstream, passing through high peaks, glaciers and alpine valleys before arriving in the capital of Lo—Mangthang.
